BiographyEdit

745 was built in Louisiana in 1921 (the last steam locomotive entirely to be built in Louisiana) for freight work. Besides pulling freight it did occasionally pull passengers, but not very often.

It later worked for two Southern Pacific Subsidary Railroad Companies: the Galveston, Harrisburg, & San Antonio Railroad and later the Texas & New Orleans Railroad. It was then donated to Louisiana where it pulls occasional excurtion trains.
