BiographyEdit

Built in 1923, 2479 was made for routes in Nevada, Utah, California and even, Texas! The engine pulled mainly passenger trains throughout it's career.

After it was retired in 1956, it was sent to the Santa Clara Valley Fairgrounds in 1958, where it remained on static display.

RestorationEdit

Several people, beginning in 1989, started working hard on restoring 2479 to better condition. After they finish restoration, the engine will be donated to the San Jose Railroad Museum (after they figure out where to put it).
