ATSF 3759 is a preserved steamer.

BackgroundEdit

The engine was built in 1928 and was a part of the powerful 3751 class. It hauled many trains and could haul long ones, too. Originally coal fired, it was converted to oil in 1936. After retirement, it hauled one last excursion train in California, then set to storage, but later the engine was donated to Kingman, Arizona, where it is today. Every Christmas the town decorates 3759 in lights for fun.
