BioEdit

3751 was built in 1927 and was proven to be more powerful than Santa Fe's previous top steamers, and could pull larger loads then they could. It originally was coal-powered, but was converted to burn oil, like many other ATSF engines. It then recieved an upgrade on it's first overhaul to make it even better. The engine became a prime train for the Santa Fe. It was later retired in 1953 and donated to the San Bernardio Train Station in California. A railway society then bought 3751 in 1981 and had it restored to operable conditions. It has since pulled excursion trains and still does today.
